In Haïti, workplace first aid is governed by Labour Code (Decree of 24 February 1984, amended by the Law of 5 June 2003), Book on occupational hygiene and safety, administered by Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour (MAST); Office of Insurance for Work Accidents, Illness and Maternity (OFATMA). Employers must ensure a trained first aider is available at all times.
